Ingredients
10 oz or 300 g Oyster Mushrooms
10 oz or 300 g of trumpet mushrooms
- For the marinade:
3 tbsp olive or avocado oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
Juice from 1/2 lemon
2 tsp of maple syrup (optional)
1/2 tbsp Paprika
Few springs of fresh rosemary
You will need about 4-6 bamboo skewers
4-6 pita breads or flat breads of your choice.
- Garnish:
1 tub of Good Foods Plant Based Tzatziki Dip
1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes sliced
1 red onion sliced
3 Persian cucumbers sliced
Handful of chopped or micro cilantro
Juice from 1/2 lemon
Directions
- Wash and dry the mushrooms and place them in a bowl or a large plate. Add the spices, lemon juice, and herbs. Let the mushrooms marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Arrange the mushrooms in the skewers. Cook the mushrooms on a barbecue grill or on an indoor cast iron grill for 20 min turning frequently until both sides are crispy.
- Serve with the garnishes and tzatziki dip. Enjoy.
